Find Mains of Taymouth

Mains of Taymouth Country Estate is a 120 acre estate nestled by the delightful little conservation village of Kenmore and magnificent Loch Tay in Highland Perthshire, deep within Rob Roy and Campbell country and bordered by the Tay Forest Park on one side and the River Tay on the other.  Built in the 19th Century and formerly the home farm for Taymouth Castle, the stunning courtyard buildings themselves are now tastefully converted into award winning luxury self-catering holiday cottages, amongst the finest to be found anywhere.  The Estate continues this mould with Castle Gardens, a selection of award winning holiday houses, the Bruadairs houses - three magnificent large holiday houses as well as the brand new Gallops apartments, all built with the five star quality you would expect at Mains of Taymouth, Scotland.

With the fabulous Mains of Taymouth Courtyard right on your doorstep – complete with restaurant, brasserie/bar and high quality retail shop with delicatessen and with our own Kenmore Golf Course and Mains of Taymouth Riding Stables and Loch Tay Boat Centre just down the lane, all amidst Highland Perthshire’s finest scenery, these facilities all contribute to making Mains of Taymouth the perfect holiday destination.  Activity and adventure holidays and breaks in Scotland par excellence – with world class River Tay and Loch Tay fishing, watersports, horseriding and adventure activities in particular all adjacent and with sensational walking of all grades right on your doorstep.
