Boat Hire and Outdoor Activities

Welcome to The Loch Tay Boating Centre

Situated at the eastern end of beautiful Loch Tay, we are ideally located for a variety of activities including motor boat hire, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking and power boat sports.

We have 20 swing mooring points available for private hire and two slips available for boat launching. Working with our sister company, Freespirits, we provide adrenalin activities such as White Water Rafting, Cliff Jumping and Abseiling.  The Boating Centre has been operating for over 15 years and has recently been taken over by Steve Thomas who spent nine years in the Royal Marines and has been involved in outdoor activities for the past 26 years.

The day-to-day running of the centre is managed by Rab Montgomery who has worked here for many years and has an unrivalled knowledge of the boats, the loch and the surrounding area.

So, whether you are looking to go fishing, potter around the loch in a motor boat or are looking for something a little more extreme, get in touch with us - we are sure you will not be disappointed.

Bikes come in standard off-road specification.  Choose anything from a week's holiday to a short break or cycle hire only.

Visitors from all over the world regularly come to enjoy the beauty and scenic splendour of the Highlands of Scotland and the superb mountain biking opportunities this lovely part of Perthshire offers.  Our cycling holidays and breaks on quiet roads and byways allow ample time to explore this sensational land of hills, mountains, glens, lochs, sea shores, folklore and history.

Bikes can be hired by the hour, half day, full day or week.  A range of sizes is available, both for male and female adults and for children.
