Arriving from Aberfeldy just a short 6 miles away driving down the brae you get your first stunning glimpse of Loch Tay in front of you and Taymouth Castle to the left. Within the village itself you will find the heart of Kenmore is "The Square", a street lined with attractive mainly black and white buildings. The most imposing of these is the Kenmore Hotel. On the opposite side there is the village shop and post office. The eastern end of The Square is dominated by the elaborate stone gateway leading to the estate of Taymouth Castle and the beautiful parish church stands at the west end of the square.
